Council Camps

The Connecticut Yankee Council owns and operates five camping facilities for use by Scouts and other organizations. Our flagship summer camp is Camp Sequassen, located in New Hartford, CT. The Council's high-adventure base and home to our new Adventure Day Camp is Deer Lake Adventure Center in Killingworth. Three other properties, Hoyt Scout Reservation in Redding, Wah Wah Tay See in Hamden , and Camp Pomperaug in Union, are maintained for weekend use.

In addition to our camping facilities, the Council also operates six weeks of summer day camp and numerous other camping opportunities throughout the year.
