This packet contains ALL of the information that you will need to know about the upcoming event. It is imperative that you read & understand everything included. As scouts, please BE PREPARED!
Welcome to the Quinnipiac District Fall Camporee. This year’s theme is Ghostbusters. The fall camporee will take place at Hoyt Scout Reservation on October 11-13, 2019 and will be based out of Eisenhower Pavilion in the South Area of Camp. Our hope is that your unit will join us as scouts participate in activities to clear Hoyt of the pesky paranormal beings.

Registration:
All registrations will be done online. The online registration link will close on October
4th at 11:59pm.
Units must register all of the members of their unit that wish to participate, and provide a count of how many patrols they are entering. Individuals may not register separately.
Registration Prices:
Early Bird Rate Until: Sep 1st: $15.00 for youth, $ 7.00 for adults
Regular Rate After: Sep 20th-Oct4th: $20.00 for youth, $7.00 for adults
Late registrations are not guaranteed and can be made by emailing Matt Banas at banas89@gmail.com. A confirmation email will be sent if the registration is accepted.
Only registered scouts are allowed to attend & units must have properly trained leaders in attendance. Registration numbers determine supplies needed for the weekend, we appreciate the early registrations.
This fee covers the camping fee, event supplies and participation patch.
Check In:
Arrival will begin at 5:30 pm at Eisenhower Pavilion. The units will be directed to their campsite. While the unit is setting up camp, a unit leader should check in everyone from your troop. Please come prepared with an updated patrol roster for each registered patrol with names of all of the participants from your unit & payment for anyone that did not pay online.
Checks being submitted for payment must be made out to CYC.
Maps & event rotations will be handed out at the leaders meeting. Units should have Health forms on-site. All units must be checked in by 8:00 pm & ready at the Training Cabin by 8:30pm for the leaders meeting.
Parking:
All vehicles need to be parked in their assigned lot.
