Ban Lifted 11/29/24 on Open Fires at Camp Sequassen and Hoyt Scout Reservation

On November 26, 2024, the Commissioner of DEEP lifted the statewide ban on public lands in Connecticut. Consequently,the corresponding ban imposed on open fires and charcoal at Camp Sequassen and Hoyt Scout Reservation is lifted, effectively immediately.
