There are more than 135 merit badges, and any Scout, or any qualified Venturer or Sea Scout may earn– from focused on the classic outdoors to STEM, arts and business. Scouts earn them to advance in their ranks and ultimately attain Scouting’s highest honors. Each badge ties back to real-life careers, businesses and industries. That’s why the Connecticut Yankee Council has launched the Merit Badge Partnership Program– a new way for businesses to partner with Scouting to pave pathways for Connecticut’s youth to succeed.
