HOYT SCOUT RESERVATION, 3 MARCHANT RD, WEST REDDING
This popular event, for Cub Scouts entering Grades 3-5 in September 2020 and their adult partners, is returning to Hoyt Scout Reservation! Participants will receive in-depth instruction on safe gun handling and marksmanship skills. Classes will be instructed by NRA Certified Instructors who are very serious about introducing youth to guns, safety and how to responsibly have fun with shooting sports activities.
CHECK IN BETWEEN 8:00 AND 8:45 AM, FOLLOWED BY THE FLAG RAISING AND THE SAFETY PORTION OF THE DAY. ALL SCOUTS MUST BE PRESENT FOR THE ENTIRE SAFETY TRAINING TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SHOOTING ACTIVITIES. NO EXCEPTIONS.
$27 fee for Cub Scout and adult partner includes instruction, shooting activities, and lunch. Scouts must attend with an adult partner.
Bring your water bottle and camp chair and enjoy the day – but register soon. This event is limited to the first 120 Cub Scouts to register.
