CYC Rangemaster Training is for currently certified NRA RSOs, NRA Instructors and USA Archery Instructors who assist with unit, district, or Council events on the CYC’s camps’ shooting ranges. The training involves a summary of BSA and CYC Shooting Sports policies and an overview of the operating procedures for the camp ranges.
As of Jan. 1, 2021, at least one person supervising on any Council range must have completed this training. (This is NOT mandatory for all RSOs and/or instructors. Only one person on a Connecticut Yankee Council camp range at any given time will need to have completed this training starting Jan. 1, 2021.)
The Connecticut Yankee Council Rangemaster Training is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 9:30 am – noon — Register for this session
This training session will be held at the Milford Scout Office. There is no cost but you must register. Due to distancing requirements, participant attendance is limited and walk-ins cannot be accepted.
