2024 Prerequisites for Merit Badges

Registration for Merit Badge College is now closed.

Merit Badge College 2024 will take place over three weeks:

January 27, February 3 and February 10, 2024.

Classes will be 8:30 am – 9:45 am, 9:50 am – 11:05 am, and 11:10 am – 12:25 pm.

  • Environmental Science
  • Family Life
  • Moviemaking
  • Personal Management
  • Space Exploration

Please note:
  • Scouts MUST be First Class or above to participate.
  • Classes are initially limited to 15 Scouts per session; many of the popular Merit Badges are available for up to 3 sessions to accommodate anticipated demand.
  • Please note: Not all Merit Badges are able to be completed during our three week run.
  • Attendance at the Merit Badge College does not guarantee a Merit Badge will be earned, the completion depends on work performed on the Merit Badge.
  • Attendance at all three sessions is preferred but not required; Scouts will need to work with either the instructor or another Merit Badge Counselor to complete the requirements.
  • Some of the Merit Badges may have pre-requisites to enable the Scouts to complete the Merit Badge in the allotted time – pre-requisites will be shared as soon as they are finalized.
