You are invited to become a Merit Badge College Instructor
The Merit Badge College (MBC) committee is looking for additional instructors for 2022.. We lost a couple merit badge counselors due to other commitments.
Instructors must be available for all four sessions, or make arrangements for a substitute if they must miss a session. 2022 MBC dates are, January 29, February 5, February 12 and February 26. All classes will be virtual. No in-person classes. Classes will be 9:00 am – 9:50 am, 10:00 am – 10:50 am, and 11:00 am – 11:50 am. Instructors may teach all three periods or only one or two.
Instructors must be registered Merit Badge Counselors and have completed the current Youth Protection Training in 2021 and be Merit Badge Counselor trained. Again, the college will be virtual.
We need merit badge counselors for Communication, Citizenship of the Community, Nation and World and Personal Management. These are popular because they are Eagle required. Also, we lost a couple merit badge counselors due to other commitments.
If you are interested in being a counselor for another badge whether Eagle required or not, please let us know.
