Want to be a Trainer?
Why We Need You
Our Council membership is in constant change as youth join BSA and others age out.Parents of new scouts who become adult leaders need to be trained. But also, as the scouts of experienced trainers age out, new trainers are needed to carry on the legacy of excellent training. Therefore, we are constantly recruiting new trainers to fill out our Training Corps, to develop expertise in their content, and to become world-class trainers.
Benefits of Being a Trainer
There is no better way to become proficient at something than to teach it to someone else. Plus, serving as a trainer brings you in contact with others in the Scouting community which broadens your network to tap for event ideas, gear tips, and other issues.
